I got a Roomba for my mom, so for my new place I also decided to get a Roomba. I have a cat and a dog and just wanted extra help keeping up with the daily vacuuming. This 104 arrived super fast! It didn’t break my bank. I like how fast the robot mapped my apartment. It took maybe 9 minutes to map my 2 bedroom apartment. I have a huge carpet in the living room and the robot can go on it and vacuum it just fine. I usually run it when I am not home and even though my cat follows the robot around, so far I had every mission done to perfection. I am quite happy with how small and how well it works. When I tried to mop feature I noticed the robot can tell where the carpet is! and turns around!! The base is small so I was able to place it in a nice spot. Oh! There is a cleaning tool inside the base, it makes it easy to flip the robot and do maintenance. The base empties the robot after every run which made my cat Mooky hide at first lol but he got used to the sound after a few runs. Now I control my Roomba and my mom’s from the same app. His name will be Eatsalot lol

It’s not a time saver if I have to spend 15-20 minutes cutting the hair out of the roller brush EVERY TIME I use it. There is almost no hair in the dust bin, it is ALL wrapped around the roller brush. My standard vacuum needs the roller brush cleaned once every 6 or 8 uses. The roomba needs it cleaned EVERY time. No good if you have long hair! (Mine is just past my shoulders). Otherwise, it does a surprisingly good job.

We have hardwood floors and this vacuum is perfect for our home. Goes under our bed as well as the living room couches. Gets all of the dust, dander and dirt that is tracked into the house. Even in the corners. The smartphone app was easy to set up and is very user friendly. Invaluable household helper.

We had a Roomba 700 series that was about 6 years old and due to battery life decrease, we decided to replaced it with a 105. It was a really nice upgrade to have the vacuum dock. Also, the machine requires less maintenance than the 700 (cleaning out hair, etc from the rollers/wheels…) you still have to periodically tap the filter out, but no problem. About 5 months in, some electronic component failed and the main wheels won’t drive. The tech support team did a great job gathering information, and escalating so that we receive a prompt warranty replacement. I was concerned with all the financial news (Nov 2025) about irobot that we might not be supported, but, they really stepped up. My experience is that they have a great product at a great price that does exactly what we want (sweep the floor!), despite all the competition. one note: this newer machine was a little taller than the 700, and we had to boost our couch a 1/4″ so it would fit under.

Super easy to set up with the app. It mapped out my home and I was able to designate cleaning zones and off limit zones on the app. The app is simple and easy to use and I love that I can schedule cleanings. Love the spot clean feature and various cleaning options. Roomba picks up hairs, dust, and debris and empties it at the dock.

If you are OCD like me about your personal space being clean, then you are about to be making one of the best purchase decisions of your life. For years I held off on buying a robot vacuum because I assumed that it would hit clean as well as my regular vacuum. Oh how technology has changed. This little bot responds to my Alexa commands and does an extremely thorough job of cleaning my rooms. Better than I even clean it because it gets inside all of the little spaces in the corners with its little extension sweeper that pokes outside of the shell of the vacuum. It does my 800 SF apartment (one level) in exactly 1.25 hours. I’m amazed at how much dust it’s still picking up on every daily run after a few weeks of use. Highly recommend this vacuum and I wish o spent more and purchased the top of the line model so that I could tell it what room to clean specifically. I already must have sold a few of these just by how much I talk about it to people in my inner circle. Go ahead, get one already!

I absolutely love these! I bought my first one over 10 years ago, it still works like a champ. I’ve bought rebuild kits for a couple times and a battery once. They are super easy and CHEAP to maintain. They clean amazingly well. The old one was kind of a random motion generator, it just sort of drove around for several hours, and when you’d look at the tracks on the carpet you would think that a toddler had been driving it. But it did the job! The little dust bin would be absolutely full. You wouldn’t think that little tiny motor would be powerful enough to do much good but it really is. I love the functionality of these things, I turn it on and I leave. When I get home the floor is clean, how simple is that! It fits any place you want to, I would suggest you use double back tape to tape the docking station down to the floor though because if it’s not solidly fixed, it will be confused trying to dock itself and recharge as the dock scoots around.
I just recently bought two more, they are even better than my old one! They were not terribly expensive, so I bought one for my daughter for Christmas and a second one for us. We use this new one upstairs at our business where a lot of us bring dogs to work so you can imagine the dog here. You don’t realize how much dog hair is on your floor until you have one of these things running around every other day picking it up!
I use them primarily on hard floors, but it does equally well on carpet. One odd thing though, my upstairs of my house has an extremely high-quality extremely dense carpet and I cannot use it up there because it leaves really bad deep tracks where the wheels continue to run the same path over and over. but on regular low carpeting, normal quality, it does just fine and does not leave deep tracks. It does a great job on all these carpets when it comes to cleaning though, it’s just my complaint about the tires leaving tracks in my deep carpet that I don’t like.
The last thing, do not use these on a very deep shag! My daughter had one a few years ago that she used on an area rug that had really crazy deep shag, (so deep that it actually laid over because the strands were about an inch and a half long.)
It choked that thing down terribly and ruined it. So do not use it on extremely long shag style carpets. Only use it on very tightly woven carpet or hard floors
If you will look at the photo, this is an example of what I’m trying to describe about my upstairs carpet. It’s extremely dense and these are the indentations that chair legs leave. They clear themselves up in just a few minutes, but the Roomba would continue to grind those tire tracks in every day Which did not look like it was real good for my carpet. So do not use a Roomba on an extremely dense carpet

I’ve only used the Roomba for three days, but I’m already impressed with how convenient it is. I wasn’t sure what to expect since this is my first time using a robot vacuum, but it’s been really easy to set up and use right out of the box. It does a great job picking up everyday dust (see pics), crumbs, and hair, things I didn’t even notice before. I don’t have pets, but I still fell like my floors are noticeably cleaner. It moves smoothly around furniture and gets into corners better than I thought it would, check out the pics. I also like that it returns to its charging station on its own when it’s done, it did it once during a scheduled cleaning, and the maps of cleaning is super helpful on the app. Did I mention, I can schedule it on my app, picks zones (rooms) and give different schedules. It does the mapping once and it gave an accurate map the very first time. One thing that stood out is how much time and effort it saves. Instead of dragging out a vacuum every day, I can just let Roomba run while I do other things. It’s not very loud either, which was a nice surprise. Even in just few days, I can see how helpful it’s going to be for keeping my place clean with minimal effort. If you’ve never tried robot vacuum before, this is a great way to get started and you don’t have to clean behind it, it auto dumps into a collector (check pics). That can be emptied once a month or more. Thanks Roomba!

I got this for my mom as a Mother’s Day gift since she has 9 cats and 2 dogs and always jokes that she could literally vacuum the house every single day and get loads of hair off the ground. This thing works amazingly for pet hair, she runs it once a day and the picture attached is from a single run. The machine is linked to an app that maps out your house during set-up, and you can even make multiple different maps if say you wanted to only do the bedrooms one day and the living room the next. If it runs into something, it is not hard at all and quickly redirects. It glides over carpets very smoothly. It is pretty loud, but she runs it when she is at work so that doesn’t matter. Highly recommend for pet owners!

Technically, I would give this 4-1/2 out of 5 stars. I have four cats, and it does an amazing job considering all of the pet hair, dander, and scattered stray cat litter pieces. Honestly, it does almost as well as my Shark vacuum, which was specifically designed for pet hair. I have mostly tile and wood floors, but there are a few rugs scattered throughout the place. It moved seamlessly through the different floor types and has no trouble going over thresholds. As you can see in the video, it detects drop offs and avoids them. I have an 8” drop off between my living room and entryway and it easily avoided it. One thing I’m not crazy about, but I’m hoping it will do better at once it maps things out thoroughly and runs a few times, is dirt that is between a rug and a hard surface doesn’t always get cleaned as well as I’d like. However, considering I have cats, and I have to vacuum once or twice a day, it’s still worth not having to deal with it! I would highly recommend cleaning the rollers on the bottom regularly if you have pets. The roller can get pretty full of animal hair if they’re shedding much on your floor. I still think I’ll have to give it one thorough vacuuming a week, but I think this will work the rest of the time. After buying this model, I am kind of excited to try the Roomba model that both vacuums and mops in the future. I got this model for only $68 during prime day and it was an open box item that was brand new, so I can’t beat that value. (Brand new ones that hadn’t been shipped before we’re selling for almost $275!) Gotta love Prime day! Right out of the box this was very easy to set up. After charging for a few hours, it easily ran for 45 minutes and probably would’ve run longer if I hadn’t ended the vacuum sequence. Unfortunately, the model I had doesn’t have as good a smart mapping capability as I had hoped, so it took several passes through in some areas for it to find the edges of the surface that needed vacuuming. Since it’s already improving. I expect this to get better after it runs more. If anything changes, I will update my review.

Tengo muchos pros que contras, yo pensaba que el producto no iba a salir tan Bueno, pero de verdad que me ha sorprendido estoy enamorada del producto, me ayuda mucho, ya que en la mayoría de veces uno está muy ocupado con el trabajo, deja muy limpio, espero y deseo que me duele mucho este equipo y que si pasa algo, haya el soporte en mi país, lo malo es que tarda en ir a su base, va a todos lugares menos a la base, a veces choca de lleno con los muebles y si da como que cosa que se vaya de esa manera y otras veces lo hace con mucho cuidado.

An exciting present for hubby for Father’s Day! He promises he will keep up with the floors and bathrooms, but he is always so tired after work and…here we are. I took pictures of the box because I was a little worried it would arrive damaged, but, it was safe and sound. The last model we had was the i7+. This new Roomba looks much more futuristic. I love how much bigger the filter is in the new models. The mopping pad is giant and it snaps on. I like the little touch on the charging base with the brush. The entire thing looks really slick and makes me proud to have a robot vacuum! The setup in the app to my WiFi was very simple and has a nice bedside manner. Mapping was REALLY fast. I was so surprised. It took about ten minutes. It did a good job picking up cat hair. I was a little wary of the brush, but so far it’s easy to clean. It does a great job mopping, especially since we’re not mopping. My only set back is having to figure out where I end up placing it in our house, because the mop pad can’t go across carpeting back to the home base and I didn’t realize that. It would be more ideal for a house with less carpeting and maybe just area rugs. We’re too excited to care.

I traded in my old 880 robot and put the rebate toward the Roomba 105 Vacuum with Autoempty Dock. I am thrilled with how great it cleans and best of all it empties itself. I ended up buying one for my daughter who as well loves it. It does a great job with dog fur. I had a great experience with every roomba I have owned. This one is a great product for the price if you’re looking to just vacuum.

Wow! Affordable Roomba with impressive Power, performance, and precision. It is also incredibly quiet while cleaning , so you can still hear yourself think and carry on a conversation. I can’t believe iRobot has finally come out with a more affordable Roomba that has the same amount of power and versatility as the older more expensive models from previous generations. I had the 980, and a j7+, both have provided me with years of reliable service with routine cleaning and maintenance. This new 105 combo is just as powerful at 1/3 the price and does the same job with the versatility of including a mop and a docking station to self empty the trash and charge is amazing. iRobot has really ramped up its game. The mop feature is quick and easy to clean and refill the liquid compartment and it is able to both vacuum and mop at the same time which is an incredible future and then self-dock and empty the bin and charge on its own. The integrated app through iRobot allows you to control everything when you’re not home so you’re home can be perfectly clean when you return and not have to worry about cleaning with a busy schedule. The 105 combo, makes life easier for your home and family at a very affordable price. I highly recommend this 105 combo Roomba, over other more expensive models. It is a great value to save time and money.
